David Rees-Jones

David serves as President of Rees-Jones Holdings, where he provides strategic leadership and oversees the company’s growth and investment initiatives. He also serves on the board of Pine Wave Energy Partners, Suncrete, and the Rees-Jones Foundation, reflecting his and his family’s strong commitment to philanthropy and community impact. David began his career in the energy sector, where he has spent over a decade specializing in mineral and non-operated asset acquisitions. He was involved with Chief Oil & Gas during a period of significant growth, culminating in the company’s $3 billion sale to Chesapeake Energy. David holds a B.B.A in Finance from Texas Christian University.
