Chief Capital (O&G) II LLC was formed in 2016 as a platform to acquire and manage non-operated working interest assets. Initially focused in the Permian Basin, Chief has grown its portfolio to include 20,000 net acres and working interest in 2,500+ horizontal wells spanning most of the active U.S. onshore basins. Chief holds material positions in the Midland, Delaware, Haynesville, Utica, Western Anadarko, Powder River and Bakken.

PEC Minerals LP & PEC Exploration LLC

In 2006, PEC Minerals LP acquired a portfolio of 600,000+ net mineral acres located across the U.S. and the executive rights to 250,000 net acres of minerals owned by Sabine Royalty Trust. Chief owns majority equity in PEC and manages it’s day to day activities. PEC Exploration, LLC, a subsidiary of PEC Minerals LP, owns and manages non-operated working interests derived from PEC Minerals LP’s mineral interests.
